This site chronicles a year-long performance project involving a subchapter S-Corporation called Death & Taxes, Inc.  This corporation, run by a professional board of directors, took charge of our family’s personal finances in an effort to make our artist lives more profitable.  In essence, we privatized our lives.

This site contains information about the board members and about us (visit the Company Information section). You’ll also find a detailed timeline and a copy of the budget that was approved and information about how what we actually spent compared with what we proposed to the board (see the “Statistical Data” link of the detailed Project Timeline).  You’ll also find copies of press releases, *.pdf reprints of the press we obtained, and publicity photos (visit the D&T Newsroom). 

Framed by the first and last business days in the year, the corporation launched on January 3, 2006 and subsequently dissolved on December 29, 2006.  Artifacts and information about the project continue to exhibit at various venues throughout the United States.
